Champion Youth Entreprenuers for Agriculture (CYEA), a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, relies on donations and sponsors to support our mission. Your generous contribution helps us build a legacy for the children we serve.

General Equipment for the Garden

  • Bug repellent
  • Seeds
  • Hoses
  • Garden soil, topsoil, and mulch
  • Pots (all sizes)
  • Wagons and wheelbarrows
  • Art paint and brushes
  • Yarn
  • Mason jars for canning
  • Snacks for the children
  • Rolls of garden plastic
  • Greenhouse
  • Flowers and plants
  • Gardening tools (shovels, rakes, pruning shears, gloves) – enough for 10 young people and additional volunteer
  • Irrigation system components (drip lines, hoses, sprinklers)
  • Protective gear for young people (e.g., hats, sunscreen, insect repellent)

  • Computers or laptops for research, planning, and development (2-3)
  • Software subscriptions for market research and business planning (e.g., SurveyMonkey, QuickBooks)
  • Web hosting and domain registration for the online platform

Solar Panel Installation

  • Solar panels and mounting hardware (3 sets)
  • Inverter and charge controller for converting and managing solar energy
  • Batteries for energy storage
  • Safety equipment for installation (e.g., gloves, safety glasses)

IoT-Enabled Garden

  • IoT sensors for soil moisture, temperature, and light levels (20-30 sensors)
  • IoT-enabled weather station for monitoring environmental conditions
  • Data logger or gateway for collecting and transmitting sensor data
  • Mobile device or tablet for accessing the garden management app (2-3)
